Timber Fencing
A Classic Fence
In addition to its aesthetic qualities, timber fencing is also known for its durability. With proper
installation and maintenance, a well-constructed timber fence can last for many
years, withstanding the elements and providing reliable security and privacy.
Certain species of timber, such as cedar and pressure-treated pine, are
particularly resistant to rot, decay, and insect damage, further extending the
lifespan of the fence.
Another advantage of timber fencing is its versatility. Wooden fences can be customized in a variety of styles, heights, and designs to suit the specific needs and preferences of the
homeowner. From classic picket fences to modern, sleek panels, the options for
timber fencing are extensive, allowing you to create a unique and personalized
outdoor space.
Another important consideration is the intended purpose of the fence. Are you looking to enhance privacy, improve security, or simply add an attractive feature to your outdoor space? The purpose of the fence will influence the height, design, and materials you
select. For example, if privacy is your primary concern, you may opt for a
taller, more solid timber fence, while a lower, decorative fence may be more
suitable for aesthetic purposes.
A range of height sizes from 900mm / 1.2m / 1.5m / 1.8m / 2.1m
There are 2 popular options: you can choose flat top palings or colonial top palings. We recommend using steel posts (it will last longer), though if on a budget you can choose timber posts.
Like with most timber, you will be required to do some maintenance from time to time to keep your fence in good shape.
